Main Crank Bearings

There has been some discussion on the fitting of the rear oil Thrower.
The Bearing must have an Interference fit on the shaft as that is what holds it in place NOT the clamping between the flywheel normally the thrower will be slightly raised or have 3 or 4 dimples wear it comes in contact with the flywheel and inner part of the bearing and when the flywheel is fitted will only need a small amount of nip to hold in place to enable it to revolve with the crank.
