Tony P _ re the plates being attached to the door pillar - I thought from 1927 on they were rivetted to the front face of the firewall? Hope someone corrects me if I'm wrong. Cheers, Bill

Bill,

You could be right, the 1928 Chummy has non original plates held on the firewall with screws (put on by a previous owner) and has been re-upholstered on the pillar so no marks visible.

The 1929 fabric Saloon has the plates on the door pillar.
