There is a curious line in the index cards for the Sports. It lists "lower bonnet" but this is amended in pen to "longer"... after Aug 34. (at the same time, a petrol tap is introduced; not sure where if anyone can fill that in too!)
I have checked a later car which has the following characteristics:
Central spine - bonnet 31.5"
vertical height of side panel in the central position where the catch attaches 11 5/8 "
length of side panel at its highest point (where it joins with the upper part of the bonnet) 31"
Could a few readers with Nippy/65 of chassis lower than 198778 please see if they get anything different? 
It could also pertain to the Speedy, but its not clarifed. just notes "7HP Sports"
