The Ulster rep is owned by Paul Smith who lives near Thirsk. Paul contacted me a few weeks ago asking if I had a spare cylinder block. Apparently the car was only capable of 45mph flat out and was oiling its plugs. I suggested that he changed the late Ruby head for an early one and gave him one to try. It must have done the trick as he took the car to Nottingham for the PWA7C Rally last weekend, complete with girlfriend and dog. It is obviously running much better (the car rather than the dog!)
