RP bonnet hinge

I have an annoying rattle on my bonnet which I believe is due to the central bonnet hinge rod being too small. Can anyone tell me what the proper diamter should be please, and I'll source myself a new one.

Don't know if this helps but the centre hinge pin on my RN is 0.309" inches so allowing for wear I would say it should be 5/16" inches.
