Re: GE Cup rubber spacers

Hi Bill

I am using conveyer belt on my car. As you mention, be very careful of something that moves about too much. I tightened the body down a bit which ruined the fitting of the bonnet - or perhaps the lesson is to fit the bonnet once you are totally happy with the body position.

Re: GE Cup rubber spacers

Thanks Peter,

I have already used the 1/2" belt rubber when I try fitted the body and latterly the bonnet, so should not need too much realignment when I go for the final bolting on. Some of the alloy bonnet may need minor trimming though, but have not made the louvres yet.

By the way Who made your tail cover and wings?

Also is yours on the road?

Kind regards

Re: GE Cup rubber spacers

Hi Bill

The aluminium boot lid was made by Rodney Griffin in Coalville. I'm running with cycle wings at the moment, but looking to get some wings made so that I may run as standard in the VSCC.
