just a quick reminder. Avoid A27 if coming from the east. Festival of Speed is Fri til Sunday so will be murder around Chichester and all roads north on most days morning and late.

That has decided me. I hadn't realised that the event dates clashed.

I've been caught up to the east of Chichester in Festival of Speed traffic in the past. It is a complete nightmare and can take hours to get past Chi. In fact I had a ticket to attend one year and gave up after hours of chaos.

Maybe the 750MC organisers should strive in future to avoid the weekend that the FOS is on. Lord March will certainly not alter the date of his multi million pound little earner for the likes of us.

Unfortunately the Festival of speed doesn't have a fixed date. Looking at previous years, it seems to have jumped around and can be any of first weekend in July, Second weekend in july or last weekend of June. I don't know whether they do this so that, at least some years, it doesn't clash with other events. Maybe to do with the Grand Prix season? Either way, having got stuck in the traffic going elsewhere before I can only sympathise with anyone who lives that way.
