LAP OHV Conversions

I've seen the odd picture of one of these but know little else - Purves and Martin Eyre mention them.
Does anyone know much about them? Were they any good or flawed by design or manufacturing faults?

Chris Gould ,of ulster fame,has fitted an OHV conversion some time ago. I saw it at the time at his workshop.He can be called on 01903 233255. I am sure he would be happy to chat. Mac
