Crown wheel and pinion

Just seen on ebay a crown wheel and pinion for an Austin Seven. The Pinion is very short, unlike all the ones I have seen?
Just wondering if anyone could enlighten me?

ebay number is 4604569999.

A7 pinion shafts are all long. I actually can't remember the exact lenth.THey have between 8 to 10 teeth depending on the AXLE ratio,and they are 7/8 to 1 inch in diameter and the later ones have a 1 1/8 shoulder adjacent to the pinion. It sounds Like a Morris one to me. Mac

Shucks ! I should have looked first, Have now. It is definitely not an A7 one.

Thanks Mac.

I looked in all my books and couldnt work out what sort of Austin Seven it was from!
I guess its been hanging around someones garage for a while and they thought that it was A7. Hopefully an Austin Seven person will recognise that its wrong before bidding

I've just had a look at this - 4604569999 is now (6pm, 14/1/05) advertised as a Morris 8 cw&p.
