What's this dynamo from??

Seems we have people with access to old Lucas information on this message board so, perhaps, someone can help me with something that I have being trying to get to the bottom of for years.

I have had, for many years, a Lucas dynamo on the shelf. It is of a larger diameter than a Seven dynamo, has a similar distributor drive at its rear end, has a mounting flange at the other end that has two elongated holes for adjustment and one fixed hole for mounting and appears to be gear driven (although the gear is missing) as the drive spindle is tapered and keyed. The markings on it say that is is Model: C41 8A, Type: AJ3 and it bears the number 222071

Any information as to what it might be from gratefully accepted.

Thanks in advance,

STEVE

Re: Re: What's this dynamo from??

Well thank you very much Barry. And thanks for the seperate email as well. As I live in 'Jowett Country', I'm sure I can find a good home for it.
