Austin Seven tuning advice

I'm compiling a feature on 'Tuning and Improving the Austin Seven' for Classic Car Weekly. This will deal with all aspects, as the title suggests, from making the car go a bit faster to making it drive better and stay together longer. It's alos always useful to know what NOT to do!

All comments, preferably aimed at beginners, are most welcome.

Hi Russ,

which A7 club do you belong to?

Re: Re: Austin Seven tuning advice

The average Seven owner wanting more from his car can do little better than follow the advice in 'The Austin Seven from the Special Builder's Angle' by Holly Birkett (although, these days, SUs are easier than Ford Eight Zeniths). As relevant today as it was when it was written all those years ago.

After that, the sky's the limit but it does start to get complicated.
