Timing gears

Does anyone know who is suppling/manufacturing new timing gears at the moment?

Cheers for the help, Andrew

Re: Timing gears

Try Dave Dye

Re: Timing gears

You could also try Vince Leek.

Re: Re: Timing gears

Wherever you get them from, be sure to check the timing marks in relation to the keyways. There are some about that are marked one tooth out. Easy way is to check them against an original set.

Many thanks,
I'll let you know who has them, and thanks for the advise.

Re: Re: Timing gears

Andrew - you haven't told us for which type of engine you require these gears - magneto-type ones are different to coil-type gears. If it's the latter, our Club here in Oz has new gears in stock if you're desperate, also the earlier ones are currently being manufactured for us. Cheers, Bill
