Does anyone know of an MOT station within reasonable distance of Watford, Hertfordshire that can MOT my A7. My usual garage Biggerstaffs of Sarratt are booked up for 3 weeks and all the other garages I have contacted cannot do it because it is too narrow for their pit or ramps.

Hi Dave. It's not that near to Watford, and there must be somewhere closer by, but if you get stuck Whitehorse Service Station, Baldock, 01462 893295 is brilliant at A7 MOT's. Unfortunately you can't book so it is best to phone first and make sure they are going to be open then turn up really early - 7.30am on a weekday. Stewart, who owns the garage has several A7's and is highly 'sympathetic' in dealing with such vehicles - and the ramp is just narrow enough!
