I wonder if anyone can give advise I have replaced Ist motion shaft bearing together with the centre bush bearing and fitted a replacement synchromesh to a 4 speed 3 syncro gear box that i obtained .
The problem that I am experiencing is that i have end play when I pull on the 3rd motion shaft and the bearing is loose both on the 3rd motion shaft and also in the gearbox housing I know that a coating of bearing locktight will grip them but should there be that much end float in the first place the bearing is the original and does have the retaining clip in place
Any advice will be welcom
