Distribuors - Bosch, Reliant alternatives

Hi all,

Quick one - does anyone have the exact part number for the Bosch and/or Reliant distributors that have been fitted ?

Do either require any machining work in order to be be used - particularly with respect to fitting the drive gear ? (the need to remove bits off the outside of the Reliant version is known and no problem).

I know the Bosch one is a mechanical auto advance/retard, I assume the Reliant one is too ?

Thanks in advance, all help much appreciated.

Jon

So has mine. Bolts straight on. If you were to DIY you will need access to a lathe as Willie turns the bottom of the dizzy to take the A7 advance/retard plate. Best thing I ever did.

Thanks hugely for the prompt replies - a brace of dizzies are now on their way to me from WM
