Maythorn Coupe

In the latest edition of the Newsletter of the Society of Automotive Historians in Britain there is a short piece on a 1927/8 Maythorn Coupe which doesnt appear to be in Purves. It still exists in a museum in Florida.A photo of it is shown which first appeared in the Austin Magazine in Jan 1928.It wa smade for a Mr H Pulitzer he of the Prize for use in Palm Beach. From the photo seems to have canework on the body work and apparently it had grey leather and cord interior.Anyone heard of this one before?

Re: Maythorn Coupe

Yes, I have - I wrote an article about it for the A7CA magazine in 1993. Back then it belonged to a Mrs Greene, 72 years young. I will try to arrange a link to it soon.
