Interesting period pic in 2007D Grey(?) Mag. On page one of a 23 Chummy that appears to have ‘Balloon’ tyres on beaded edge rims. Didn’t know this was ever an option.

On the original the rear wheels (at least)appear to be the later type and you can read the tyre inscription "Dunlop Cord Baloon 700x80 26x3 (or possibly 31/2)

Thanks Robin, I did wonder if the rears were larger than the front, or if the perspective exaggerated the rears. Couldn’t make out the rear rim in the photo.
Amazing what you can see on an original old photo, almost as good as our digital cameras today!

Looking again, the object just in front of the steering column is an unusual dashboard lamp, clamped to the column with a universal swivel. Easier than drilling a hole in the dash - and safer too, with the tank right behind. Yes, v. good quality photo.
