Torque Values

Does anyone know of a chart of torque values particularly for Austin Seven threads?

Re: Torque Values

I think that the seven fifty club companion has such info?
To be honest it may not be relevant because the original fastenings were probably mild steel, wereas you may well have some better spec or high tensile ones fitted as part of a restoration?
I just tighten up using a set of cheap and short whitworth spanners till it feels right .

Steve.

Re: Re: Torque Values

Thanks Steve, I'm sure your are absolutely right about the quality of the steel and I also use on old set of Austin spanners
My main concern was not so much with steel studs and nuts but in the threads in the aluminium crankcase. I have plugged some holes that were oversize and am having helicoils fitted to the pulled or loose ones but I would hate to cause damage to the others.
