Interesting to see that the aero screen doesn't just mount on the body but has supports coming back from the bulkhead. The body skins must of been very thin.

My suspicion is that this has more to do with being able to get the bodywork off quickly. As far as I can recall, the twin cam panels aren't especially thin - probably 18g. Will ask the man who will know next time I speak to him!
