I have been building a GE Cup Special since 1997, but for the past 3 years I’ve been rather busy and I've got stuck. All the mechanical work has been completed to a high standard, the body is fabric-covered, the bonnet has been made, etc. What remains to be done is the windscreen, upholstery, hood, wiring and several small items. I am wondering about the feasibility of finding someone with more skill & time than I have to finish it off.

In return for this help, we could come to some arrangement for borrowing the car over a period of some years. This would suit someone with more time than I have, preferably based in the Midlands (and with smallish feet!), who would like to work on and drive a very attractive vintage special.

Do you think that anyone would be interested on this basis, or am I being incredibly optimistic? You can see a couple of photos of progress so far here and here.
