I Need a Hearing Aid

Apologies for this not being Austin 7 related, but I know a lot of you are interested in the ‘race’ cars and the wonderful pictures sent in by Austin Harris. Some of you know what the exhaust note of an Ulster at ‘full chat’ sounds like. What about being the mechanic on this one!!!

Ithink that EAR PLUGS would be more suitable. Anybody know what the car is?

Refering to Bill Boddy's excellent Brooklands book, it would be a "Blitzen Benz".
Some 200 hp and rear tyres that lasted 60 miles at 130 mph round Brooklands!!!!!..........I suspect that earplugs were further down the list of pre-requisites than spare underpants
