Is it what it says it is?

my complete lack of knowledge only goes as far as it looking roughly like an Ulster replica.

Re: Is it what it says it is?

It depends how loosely you want to accept the term Ulster Replica.

I'd describe it as an Austin 7 special based on a 1934 chassis. with an Ulster Style aluminium body.

It is what it says it is to a point, but the chassis is 6 inches too long to be a Ulster 'Replica'

Re: Is it what it says it is?

I think the description of Ulster replica special is fairly accurate. I believe some people call them Ulsteroids...

It's not an Ulster replica as it is to long, the proportions of the tail are completely wrong.

Re: Is it what it says it is?

Ironically a number of the modified Ulsters raced in the thirties were designated Ulster Specials, just as Gordon England's racers were called Austin Specials in the mid 20's.
