Cylinder Bore Sizes

I have been offered a spare cylinder block for my 7 . The chap selling informs me the bore is 57.60 mm - does anyone know what this size is in ' real money ?!'

Sounds like 60 thou oversize.

On a calculator you get 2.2677.

So its basically 60 thou oversize.

If you want to work it out for yourself just divide the metric millimetre measurement by 25.4 to give an answer in decimal inches. Likewise you can multiply inches by 25.4 to get millimetres.
