29 RK saloon - Wiper motor bolts

The Lucas vacuum wiper motor on this car is held on currently with two long thin dome headed bolts with screwdriver slots. Is this correct? Does anyone know what thread they are, please? They don't seem to be BSF, BA or even metric. David Williams 07860 547056

Re: 29 RK saloon - Wiper motor bolts

David, sorry I didn't see this before, I have a 29RK saloon ( which broke it's halfshaft on the way to Scotland in 2006 only to be supplied with another by a very helpful man in Bradford on Avon ) but unfortunately mine didn't have the correct wiper. However, I understand that threads were often odd sizes like 3 BA rather than the normal 2BA or 4BA, did you try 3BA?

Hi Malcolm

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I did manage to get hold of some 3 BA bolts, but assuming they were correctly described, they didn't fit either.

I wouls have expected either BSF, Whitworth or BA, so I'm a bit stuck.
