Smiths 6 volt Clock

I have a 6 volt time piece that shows no sign of life & would like to refit it to the dash of my 1931 RL (when restored). Does anyone know who could bring it back to life or any work arounds that I could consider, without having to resort to it being accurate twice a day!!

Re: Smiths 6 volt Clock

HI, have you tired taking it apart...well the big bits and cleaning? even the use of some compressed air, though not too strong! Then you should use some watch oil on the moving parts ( spindle ends) dont oil the gears!!

PS.....not held responsible if it flys apart !
