I don't know if anyone has been watching a set of old style grease nipples that appeared on ebay and sold for £30-00.
A bit steep for me so I rooted out an original, damaged one and cut it in half to measure it up. I have just finished making 10 new ones using a piece of brass bar from the scrap box. I have the balls(sorry about that!)and some springs and now just need to assemple them and swage the end of the bodies over to retain the springs.
If anyone would like the dimensions to make their own, just drop me a line.
Not sure how the right angled ones were put together though, does anyone?
Incidently, how about the rusty Chummy spare wheel carrier; that went for £90. Surely they aren't that rare, are they?
