Chummy starter parts.

Hi you all.
My 1926 Chummy is not starting.
The bendix on the starter is a bit worn out, but it looks like the start ring on the engine will be ok for some time to come. But mabe it is better to do both at the same time?
Is someone selling parts for 1926 chummy starter?
Thank you all for this fine web ring.

Re: Chummy starter parts.

Hi BG,

Tony Betts sells a good selection of second hand parts to help you with this, you can get him on:

tony@contyaustins.fsnet.co.uk

or

www.7ca.co.uk

or 0044 (0) 1162867522

Your starter ring will most probably last you some time, it's a bigger job to get it repaired and they continue to work even when they appear totally worn.

Starter motors from 1923-1929/30 will all fit on your car so you should have no bother finding another.

Good luck,

Ruairidh
