Blown Ulster

The car is one of a batch of five built in Mat 1930.
Chassis No. 110505 Engine No.107978 Reg.No. OU 5753
James Cary Elwes was owner and raced car at Brooklands and Shelsley Walsh
Hillclimb in 1930-31-32.Sold to Graham Goodson who raced at Brooklands,
Shelsley Walsh and Donington in 1933-34-35 and 1936.Engine was 1929 'Works'
type with 8 stud crankcase and 1 1/8" circular web fully counter-balanced
crankshaft.I bought the car from John Ward of Stratford on Avon in 1976

I hope everyone else on this forum appreciates a car with recognised history as much as I do. If you would like a copy of the 1931 Brooklands relay race on 25/7/31 just let me know.

Simon, not sure how you have a copy of the race, do you mean the programme?

If so I would love to see a copy, and I suspect a few others would as well.
