Hi everybody

I have an austin 7 that I would like to change the generator to the 6 volt VW type.
I have a 6v VW generator in hand and in the other the A7's, I have no idea where to start.
Has anybody got drawings or a description of what to do.

I may be able to help with drawings and a few tips if you wish to do this mod which I did many years ago. The dynamos are still churning out the amps although, as you will see from the discussion with Barrie and Malcolm, I didn't get a proper "grip" of the charge rate which has tended to be too high!
