Rosengart

Good Morning seveners,

Yesterday, I assembled the rear axle of my future special. The differential ,hubs and pinion side bearings are all metric and, strangely, the torque tube side (inside the pivot ball)is a MJ7/8 inch ball bearing , I found the old one in the parts that came with the dismantled axle. As I had no torque tube support, I had bought a seven one at Beaulieu and, after a bit of lapping,
it fitted the french ball without problem.
The parts I have are from 1928 so perhaps, they had british torque tubes left from the first Rosengarts made of seven parts.
Cheers,
Patrick
