Hi,

Please could any Opal owners send me a photo of the door rubbers that they have installed. I am restoring a 1937/38 Opal.

I have just hung the doors back on the car and realised that I will have metal to metal contact. I guess there should be some sort of rubber to prevent this from happening?

Also on the off chance that anyone has ever put an opal body back on it's chassis I would really appreciate some tips on how to align the body with the doors. At the moment I have aa unequal gap between the bottom and top of the doors ( larger gap at the top). I guess I will need to raise the body at the back of the car and add some spacers to align the door and body?
