Just to reassure those who have read about Pearl flashing in an unacceptable way. I have now found that the wiring coming from below the steering box and bends up to the junction box had perished to such an extent that a short was occurring between them and caused all four flashing direction indicators to come on at the same time. This appeared to suggest to my dear friend following that I was in some sort of hazzard situation and about to stop. The wiring has been repaired and Pearl can now indicate left or right turns without causing any confusion. Incidentally the flashing bulbs for the semaphores which were purchased and given to me by the same dear friend are a great success.
