Re: Tips for Bonnet Catches

I always keep my old coolant hose (not the large dia 7 ones) when I replace them

A longitudinal cut will work if the dia is too small

Re: Tips for Bonnet Catches

A long while ago when I restored my Ruby I bought purpose made rubber mouldings that fit over the catch from the seven workshop. I don't know if they are still available though. They are bell shaped and are a copy of the perished ones that were on the car originally.

Re: Tips for Bonnet Catches

New ones are available from the Cherished Suppliers, these will fit any model (bar certain coachbuilt) despite being copies intended for "Ruby" models.
