1934 PD

I have just finished restoring 1934 PD Two Seater with engine bolted straight to the chassis. It goes like a rocket but wondered what the noise level should be while driving. The engine has been restored with quite a few new parts such as pistons, rings valves and springs etc etc, the block was ok so I din't get it reborred but it is a little bit noisy when running, is this normal or are these engines inherently quiet (or noisy)
While driving you get a bit of engine 'clatter' and a rumble from the metal body etc etc and just wondered what is normal.

Cheers Ralph
