2nd attempt

Saw this in a National Trust book Britain's Tree Story. Acknowledgement to the Bath in Time.
Number plate reads HW8932, I think.
Too nice not to share I thought.
Location given as Abbey Green c1920

What a fabulous picture. The more you look at it the more it gives back. The chap has hung his coat on a railing, his broom lying on the pavement by the shop. Is the lady placing a sign on a chair outside her shop? Two dogs on the green.. One of them looks like he's on his way over to the photographer. I love it.

And not much has really changed, has it?
