Fan Club?

Searching through my boxes of bits to complete an engine rebuild, I recently came across an unusual (to me, at any rate) fan.

It has the usual aluminium centre, but the blades are sheet metal riveted to the centre.

In the back of my mind I seem to recall that this type of fan was fitted to military Sevens. Is this the case?

I think it was used used on military cars as well Rick.

However, Chris Gould also mentions it in relation to Nippys/65s in his guide to that model.
