Re: Ruby Indicators

I fitted flashing LED bulbs to my semaphore indicators. They seem to be much less invisible to younger drivers than when fitted with standard bulbs.

David do these flashing LED bulbs remove the need for a flasher unit and when wired into the semafore indicators do they stay up in the horizontal when switched on rather than try and go up and down as the LED bulbs flash.

Re: Ruby Indicators

John, that's correct, you don't need a flasher unit, and the semaphore units don't flap up and down. You just take out the standard bulbs and replace them with the flashing ones.
Here's the website where I found them:

Peter
I'll be at Wollaton Stuart with good stocks of 6v flasher units, flashing trafficator bulbs and my new Double Dipper dipping headlamp bulbs. BA15d, BA20d, BPF and APF fittings. Negative and positive earth variants.

If I bring along my headlamp bulbs to Woolaton will you be able to tell me what fitting they are Peter.
