Thanks Austin,
This is very helpful information, I will have a go and try & fix my existing wiper motor using this guide.
I have already broken into the grandsons piggybank and bought the one on e-bay.
Please don't tell "she who must be obeyed" !!!

I've got a DW3 in bits to clean but have never actually operated one! Its nice and small so seems good to use it, but was it ever used on later Nippies?

Could someone please instruct me how it starts and stops before I connect it to power.

The connecting rods and the wiper spindle itself look very short for going through a Nippy screen. Anyoner know if they can they be replaced with longer ones?
