New 12 volt Battery

I need a new 12 volt battery for the Batten Special - dimensions to be about 9" x 5" - and looking at various sellers I am startled to find prices up in the £160s (Tayna). Has anyone bought a classic-looking battery for less recently - or is it a question of cheap, cheerful and modern? It is a special after all.
