Name History
As built: Tainui
2001: Amica
2011: Ostsee
In December 2012 she was laid up in Bremerhaven and had been there since July.

Tainui was taken on bare-boat charter straight from the Builders yard in 1993 and came out to NZ by way of the United States and Australia. She started her SPS service on the Auckland-Tauranga-Brisbane-Sydney-Auckland circuit, but also spent some time down south, before ending up on the Melbourne Shuttle service.
I'm unsure of her last sailing for SPS, but she was drydocked in Auckland before sailing from there at the end of January 1998 for Singapore. She left Singapore on 16 February 1998 for an unknown destination. She eventually ended up in Europe.

Re: TAINUI

After nearly a year laid up at Bremerhaven, Ostsee was been renamed Arslan 1 and sailed 21 June 2013 for Dublin, where she arrived 26 June @ 1110.
Owners listed as Zirkel Verwaltungsgesellschaft MBH.

Re: TAINUI

Arslan 1 was at the Tersan Shipyard (SE of Istanbul, near Yalova) from 24 July 2018 to early 2019 when she emerged as a cement carrier and was renamed C3Magnar around April 2019 and registered in Luxembourg.
She is trading in the Mediterranean.
