leave it like it is the will dig a bigger hole and also get more squirly the faster you go and the are a semi displacment planing hull not just a displacment hull

You are just about at the limit speed wise. Triple your horsepower and it will only dig a bigger hole. Its the displacement hull. Best I get with two Cat. 3208's is 13 knots will a tail wind.
