I have my very own 44ft MLB engineer EN3/MKCS William Collette Ret.

Prefer the 44'. At least it had a double hull. We work around alot of rocks here. 47' weather vanes in a blow, and you must accomplish tasks backwards. Been on the 44' 47' and the Aruns. Aruns wins hands down. The guys, or the computer that desighned the 47' should be forced to ride out a Force 9 in it. This would improve things immensely.

I have worked on the 44 and am now on a 52' ARUN class lifeboat. A friend of mine that is on a 47 MLB really likes it and would never go back to a 44'!

HE'S GETTING SOFT.
