Having lived in Wendover in the 1950s may I offer some info on route 359 in the 1950s. The operation was shared with United Counties which normally ran 1 x K type although single deckers were increasingly used on many journeys as the 1950s progressed. LT initially ran 1 x ST, 1 x RT after 1953, 1 x RF from 15/10/58. RLHs selsom appeared on route 359. They enjoyed a brief spell in 1956 (I think it was) when reconstruction work at Deep Mill bridge Gt Missenden forced the use of low height buses for some weeks. UC was unaffected as their K' s were all low height.
