The railway bridge in Christcurch Ave was rebuilt in early 1959. I have a book at home showing a rail car unit passing over the newly installed bridge with remains of the old bridge underneath.In the same book a picture is shown of STL 2217 passing under the old bridge in JANUARY 1951. In later years i drove RLH and RT type buses under this bridge the RTs were run out this way from HD garage to KENTON LIBRARY to take up position on the 140 route during peak hours some also ran back this way.
