HI I have recently inherited a dress dagger from my grandfather. I wonder what you could tell me about it. Also I would like to know where to have it restored.

I have a TENO officers dagger. Is there a site or contact to determine who owned the dagger by using the number stamped on the dagger?

Very interesting looking through your site as I am trying to list my collection but find out more about each one.
My question is. I have a Fire/Police bayonet with the words ALLMANN GELLE on the reverse of the holder below the rivet. Does anyone know if this is correct or do I have letters missing?
I may have other questions as they arise, so you help will be gratefully received

Regards
Geoff

Looking for some more info, it looks like the dagger my father gave me is a Luftwaffe 2 series, but the scabbard has only 1 hanger attachment. All of your pictures have 2. It appears authentic in all other regards? Any suggestions?

Your site was a great help to my husband and I. He was given WW2 Lion Head Officer Sword and Dagger by his stepfather who fought in the war. We were curious as to the value of the items and your site helped give us an idea as well as identify exactly what he has. Thanks.

Thank you - it helped identify the dagger I have. The blade is still perfect and has a blue/green cosmolene on it.

I am trying to ID a knife my father had from his uncle who was shot down in 1943 over Yugoslavia , the knife was a dagger type with a gold toned handle which went from the hand guard to the pommel with stacked leather inserts. It was not a full tang construction it had a thinner piece that was threaded on the end and was held in place with a small round ball shaped nut which sat on top of the eagle headed pommel. I have looked for an example on line to compare but have not found anything that has come close. My father passed away and the knife is somewhere in storage so I have no way to get any info from the knife since I have not seen it in aprox. the last 25/30 years but I do remember the swastika on the knife, I would like to know what it is if I can find it next summer when I can go to Montana to look for it when we go through his storage units. I would appreciate any help you could provide to help ID the knife and when I locate it I will contact you to see of it can be positively ID ed

Thank-you

Thanks for this wonderful site! My father wanted me to find out about the dagger he brought home from the war. Looks like it was the standard issue SA type. Thanks again!!
