I don't think that they can really be called slavic Macedonians as they have no connection to the Macedonians of history and their land only partly inhabitates Macedonia of history. I think a more realistic and name would be Fyromians or ex western bulgarians or Southern Serbs (as historically that land was once called southern serbia).
