Millennium Stadium

Couldn't find a thread on the MS so thought I'd start one

BBC reporting that the supposed 'concrete cancer' in the Millennium Stadium's north stand is not affecting it as bad as first feared.
This, tied in with the anticipated cost of demolition/redevelopment, means it is unlikely we will see a third tier added in "Glanmor's Gap" anytime soon!

The report also says that an artificial pitch is likely to be installed next summer - which, if UEFA stick to their current rules, pretty much rules us out of hosting the Champions or Europa League finals anytime soon (not that I think we were bidding or poised to get it anyway).

Re: Millennium Stadium

I would say its a bit of a shame for the stadium to not reach its potential capacity, but to be honest the 'gap' is quite a good feature in the stadium as it allows you to orientate yourself when you're inside.
