Super Storm, Cardiff Destruction and Devastation.

The Cardiff Wales Map Forum must not be left out the media hype!

Post you pictures now of Cardiff before the storm of the century devastates our buildings, cranes, trees and people??!

I will take a picture of my garden tonight just before the light fades as I expect this will be the last time I ever see it.

If we still have power, internet and a functioning society by this time tomorrow we can say how lucky we are, but I like the rest of the media fear the worst.

Good Luck and Goodnight.

PS.
I'm glad Bayscape was never built as this surely would have been destroyed.

Re: Super Storm, Cardiff Destruction and Devastation.

In before Jantra....
The storm force winds are expected to impact most heavily on Swansea where it is thought that they could cause up to £500 million worth of improvements to the city centre.

Re: Super Storm, Cardiff Destruction and Devastation.

Beg your pardon? What storm?

Sorry if I missed the beat, I just flew in from Korea not long back.

Re: Super Storm, Cardiff Destruction and Devastation.

But what does Jantwat have to say?

Re: Super Storm, Cardiff Destruction and Devastation.

Fat Mola
But what does Jantwat have to say?

NB while David Cameron has employed the typical English response to a crisis: chairing a session of the COBRA committee, Carwyn the Caring is fiddling while Rome drowns. Here in Penarth Marina we sit, a family not only at the mercy of impending elemental doom but also existentially threatened by the public sector's inability to do anything about the St Jude's day storm.
Carwyn could take a leaf out of a famous English leader's book, the famous King Cnut, and position himself on the seaward side of the barrage.
One look at his insincere socialist smirk and I have no doubt that the deepening depression would depart Bristol-wards, much like industry, commerce and investment has done since the inception of our so-called National Assembly.
To sum up: I identify with an English Cnut in times of crisis rather than any Welsh "leader".

Re: Super Storm, Cardiff Destruction and Devastation.

Your talents deserve a bigger audience

NB Cnut was Danish. It's also nice to see you also live on penarth marina. The coincidences just keep coming

Wouldn't it be a great day for a story to break about friendly foreign governments carrying out covert surveillance operations on our former elected leaders! As if.

Nah, let's talk about the weather instead - it's gonna be the worst storm since the great teacup incident back when Alice was in Wonderland....

Re: Super Storm, Cardiff Destruction and Devastation.

A big thank you to the Welsh Government and the local Council for rebuilding my garden. When I got up this morning it looked exactly the same as when I went to bed.
They did a real father Christmas, repairing all the damage, all over Wales in a blink of an eye.

Thank You.

Re: Super Storm, Cardiff Destruction and Devastation.

Now they've sorted you out, do you think they can get on with Bayscape please!?

"I believed in Father Christmas, I believed....."

Re: Super Storm, Cardiff Destruction and Devastation.

I've never thought of Cameron as a Cnut before.

I can get away with that can't I?
