Francesco Sinibaldi |

I was stationed in Greenham Common from 1984-1986. Worked in Financial Mgmt (Budget and Accounting).Worked a little there as a cashier also. Lived on Base and loved being able to travel to so many places. I remember when I first arrived, we had to form a human chain in front of the hanger where the GLCM\'s were stored. The base perimeter was surrounded by the peace activists threatening to climb over the base perimeter. My wartime duty there was to be driving the truck for \"Resupply\" to the GLCM crews. |

GLCM member from January 1989 until they shut it down in 1991 then went to RAF Welford. Nice to see George Lucas remembered us and filmed Star Wars #7 at Greenham Common. He was a fan of the 501st. Learned a lot and had a great time! 🫡🍻 |

Stationed at RAF Greenham Common for Jul 1983 - Jul 1986 in 2161st Communications Squadron working in secure communications maintenance. Had an incredible four years in the UK, performed with Kennet Amateur Theatrical society and toured with USAFE Showcase 1985, Tops in Blue overseas 1986 and 1987. Fond memories of my first experience being stationed overseas. Will be visiting Newbury and Greenham Common on May 11th 2023 as part of a 16 day visit to the UK. Looking forward to seeing what is left of the base and what has returned to the common. |

I was stationed at RAF Greenham Common from Jan \'83 to Sep \'86 and worked in the CBPO. My first job was managing the Personnel Reliability Program for about 2 1/2 years. I am presently writing stories for a book and decided to write one long story covering all of my assignments/duty stations in my 20-year Air Force career. I was just doing some research to find information and additional pictures to add to the info and pics I already have. |

We were in Greenham from 1964-1970. My dad was the elementary school principal and the first three years were in the manor house and then three years on the base in old barracks when it came back to life. Our quarters were the old manor house’s stables building - a great childhood! |

I was a missile launch officer assigned to the 11 Tactical Missile Squadron and the 501st TMW Standboard/Evaluation Shop from April 1985 to February 1988. I served under Wing Cdrs Cols John Bacs and William \"Wild Bill\" Jones. Lasting memories include; deployments to Salisbury Plain Training Area, pulling alerts in the GAMA, NATO Tac Evals, playing and attending UK Conference football games, sightseeing in London, and the camaraderie of my fellow GLCM Rangers. One of the best assignments of my 26 year career. Hope to return soon to visit. |

My dad was US Army and apparently was based at Greenham from some year until 1952. He met my mother in England at that time. I\'m trying to learn more about when he was there and what he did there. I was thrilled to type in what I could make out on an old postcard from 1952 and find your site. My dad is deceased and I never had the chance to learn about him till I got a few pieces of correspondence from his estate. |

My father is William (Kayce) Stillwell, he was a Captain there 1974-77 under Cy Grimshaw. My mother, Gayle, was the librarian at the Greenham Common elementary school and I attended St. Andrew\'s Primary in Chaddleworth and then the Greenham Common school. I have the best memories of playing in the open field next to the housing there on Welford and in the woods behind our house. I married Air Force and keep hoping to get stationed in England again. So far, no luck. |
