Really enjoyed exploring your Olympus XA site — it’s clear how much care and knowledge you’ve put into it. I run Zuikography, where I write about real‑world shooting with Olympus gear, including a couple of articles on using the XA in my OM Stories section. The XA has become one of my favourite carry‑everywhere cameras, and it’s always great to find others who appreciate what a clever little machine it is. Thanks for keeping the XA spirit alive. If you ever update your links page, feel free to have a look — always happy to connect with fellow XA fans. |

Discovered while searching for more information about an A1L. Longtime user of the XA2; wonderful camera, wonderful site. Couldn\'t be more pleased on both accounts. |

What a lovely little site! I\'m so glad that y\'all\'ve kept it up and running the last 25 years. It\'s such a grand snapshot into the kind of passionate cataloguing and social networking that used to be commonplace. The articles and personality present are just charming. Thanks for doing this! |

I wanted to read more on XA. It is a fascinating camera, and so is your website. I love the way you write, and provide information and your thoughts. Very useful and very interesting. The design also reminds me of the sites and blogs of 2000s. So I come here again and again for a nostalgic reason too. Glad that this site still exists. |

I found this site at least a decade ago when researching the XA, and I am so glad that I did. I am just as glad that it is still here! I love my XA, and it is all because of this site! |

The XA1 is underrated. I started with an XA2 which was a great travel camera in Afruca and super for candid shots because of how it resets the focus when you close the lid. My XA3 was a replacement I inherited after my XA2 electrics finally packed in. Same as XA2 basically though I tape over the DX code on films so I can override the ISO. I bought the XA and XA1 at similar times. The XA was on my wishlist and the XA1 was a bargain. The truth: for me the XA gives a level if control I appreciate in an SLR but do I need it for a compact rangefinder? Whereas the XA1 is a blast. No battery, shivers in a 400 speed, and away you go.No jitters about whether the shutter button will work or not, and great to just have in your pocket. Thanks for the website! |
